The new Ford Escape enters the 2023 model year with a sporty new look and enhancements across the lineup. A new set of trim levels and standard SYNC® 4 infotainment system are ready for Franklin, MA drivers to explore here at Franklin Ford.

Choose the Ideal Powertrain

You can choose from four different powertrains when shopping for a new Ford Escape, and two of these are hybridized! First, though, the standard 1.5-liter EcoBoost® I3 produces a surprising 180 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque, despite its small size. The upgraded 2.0-liter EcoBoost® I4 boosts the power output up to 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque.

Of course, you’re probably interested in the hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains. Both of these use the same 2.5-liter I4 engine, which produces up to 163 horsepower on its own. In the hybrid setup, you can enjoy up to 192 combined horsepower, and this rises to 210 combined horsepower in the plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Every 2023 Escape comes with Ford’s advanced SYNC® 4 infotainment system standard, accessible on an 8-inch touchscreen display or an available 12-inch option.
